Privacy Policy
811 Events, LLC ("811 Events", "we", "us") runs the event venue at 811 W 2nd Ave, Spokane, WA 99201, and this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you ask about the venue or book a tour, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you ask about the venue, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and details about your event, such as the kind of event, the date and the number of guests. If you book a tour, we also keep the time you chose.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your inquiry, arrange and confirm a tour, send you a reminder, and manage your booking. We also use it to measure how well our advertising works.
Who handles it
A marketing service provider helps 811 Events answer inquiries and arrange tours, so it receives your information and handles it on our behalf. It uses your information only to provide, secure and keep records of that service, and to meet its legal obligations. It does not sell your information, does not use it for any other business, and does not use it to train machine-learning models.
Your information is kept in a small set of business tools, including Meta's business tools (if you contact us through a Facebook or Instagram ad), the HighLevel/LeadConnector platform for customer records and booking, the tour calendar, email, and the provider's own booking records. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and measurement (Meta Pixel and Conversions API)
This website uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and a matching server-side connection to Meta called the Conversions API. They tell Meta when someone views the site, taps to call or email, submits an inquiry or books a tour, so we can measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads work and show them to people who are likely to be interested. Meta receives your browser's IP address and user agent, the page you were on, and the action you took.
When you submit an inquiry or book a tour, we also send Meta your name and email address, and an identifier from our booking system. We convert these into an unreadable code (a SHA-256 hash) before they are sent, so Meta gets the code, not the plain text. Meta uses these codes to match the action to a Meta account (its "advanced matching"). We do not send your phone number, or your address, to Meta. We do not send health, financial or other sensitive information, and we do not send information about children under 13.
To do this the site sets small first-party cookies in your browser: _fbp and _fbc (Meta's browser and ad-click identifiers, kept up to 90 days), mt_vid (a random visitor number we create, kept up to 400 days) and mt_cid (the number of your record in our booking system, set after you submit a form, kept up to 400 days).
Our inquiry and booking forms and tour calendar are provided by HighLevel/LeadConnector. When you use one, HighLevel stores what you entered, including in your browser's local storage (a saved copy under the name _ud) so the form can recognize you on your next visit.
Advertising choices. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, this site does not run the Meta Pixel or the Conversions API for you and does not set these cookies. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising at optout.aboutads.info, manage the ads Meta shows you in your Meta ad preferences, or clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Meta's use of the information is described in Meta's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email us.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
